I have to move out in a month so I'm trying to go through boxes of stuff I've accumulated to throw out or give away or store elsewhere. Most of my accumulated stuff is books. I'm putting a Perl book in the "take to work" pile along with a few old neuroscience books.
One of the books I found is "The C++ Programming Language" by Bjarne Stroustrup, which is the K&R of C++. I totally forgot I bought that back in 2007 (the receipt is still in there). I'm not sure why I picked that up but it's nice to know I have it whenever I decide to go down that road.
